Skip fire was started 'deliberately'

A skip fire outside a pub was started deliberately according to fire officers.

The fire service was called to deal with the blaze shortly after midnight

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to the fire, outside the Old Gate Public House in Heathton, near Claverley, shortly after Midnight on Friday, February 19.

One fire crew from Bridgnorth was dispatched to the scene and used a hose to extinguish the blaze.

They said the fire had involved the contents of "one large skip" and "was started deliberately".

The crew spent around 40 minutes dealing with the incident.
