Man caught with sword hidden down his trousers on Telford steet
A man was arrested in Telford today after police found him with a Samurai-style sword hidden down his trousers.
The man was arrested in King Street, Dawley, this morning, and the katana sword was confiscated.
Officers tweeted: "Just arrested a male on King Street Dawley with this Samurai sword down his trousers. #police #Protect @TelfordPatrol."
Later today police said that the man had been charged with possessing a bladed article and remanded to appear at court.
