Quad bike stolen from farm found in Telford thanks to tracker

A quad bike stolen from near Church Stretton was recovered by police in Telford who found it using information from a tracker.

The red Honda quad bike was taken from a farm in Acton Scott between 8pm on Monday and 6.30am on Tuesday.

However, the owner had a tracker fitted to the quad bike.

The tracking company was able to pass details to the police and it was found near Lodge Road, Donnington,Telford, by 5.50pm on Tuesday.

Police are now appealing for information about the theft.

A spokesman for the police said: "We are particularly interested in any witnesses who saw the arrival of the quad bike in the area of Lodge Road, Donnington, as their information could help to identify those involved in the theft."
