Police in Powys are appealing for information after farm vehicles were stolen from two properties in Montgomeryshire.

Sometime between March 17 and 18, a red R reg Landrover Freelander, silver Polaris quad bike and a blue Ivor Williams HB505 horse trailer were stolen from a farm in the Forden area of Welshpool.

A red 2018 model Honda Foreman TRX500 quad was also stolen from within a farm building in the Clatter, near Caersws, between March 18 and 19.

Pc Charlie Jones, of the Powys Rural Crime Team, said: “We are keen to encourage members of the public to report any suspicious incidents immediately.

“Powys is a large county, and we rely on members of the public to inform us of what is happening in our area.

“Don’t hesitate to contact us – even if a report does not need an immediate response, every piece of information helps officers build up a bigger picture and could prove vital in bringing criminals to justice.”

Anyone with information about these thefts, or who would like advice on keeping equipment and vehicles secure, should call 101 and ask to speak to the Rural Crime Team

If you see anything suspicious, report it on 101. In an emergency, or to report a crime in action, always call 999.
