Group threatened with knives on Telford walkway

Two men threatened a group with knives in Telford, but the victims are yet to come forward.

Police want to speak to the four men who had knives held to them at about 6.45pm on Friday, March 15, at Woodside.

A West Mercia Police statement said: "On the spinal path near Wellsfield, Woodside, Telford four unknown males had knives held to them by two males described as mixed race, one being 6ft, stocky build wearing a grey hoodie and the other being 5ft tall, medium build, black raincoat.

"No victims have come forward to police at this stage and police are keen to identify the persons involved in this incident.

"If you have information that you believe may be connection to this incident, please contact the police on 101, quoting the incident number given.

"Please remain vigilant around your area and report suspicious persons, vehicles or activity to the police on 101."
