Suspected poacher tested positive for drugs near Bridgnorth

A suspected poacher has been arrested after an incident near Bridgnorth.

Reports of two vehicles being involved in poaching near Quatt were made to police at about 3pm on Friday.

Three police officers and a community support officer were sent to the area, and found one of the cars involved had no tax.

The driver of the 4x4 was also arrested because, when tested, he provided a positive drug swipe.

Police are now looking for the other vehicle involved, and anybody who was in the area at the time is being asked to come forward.
