Man arrested after Welshpool cannabis raid
A man has been arrested after police raided an address in Welshpool today and discovered a small amount of cannabis being grown.
The raid took place at an address in Foundary Laney, after local officers had grounds to believe drugs were on the premises.
PS Tom Marshall said: "Officers made arrest and searched address in Foundry Lane Welshpool following grounds to suspect drugs on the premises.
"A small cultivation of cannabis was found within a tent at the address, which was seized.
"The suspect is currently under investigation for production of cannabis under the Misuse of Drugs Act."
