Five people have appeared in court charged with taking part in an alleged street brawl.

Julie Carrington, her husband Karl David Carrington and relation Jodie Leanne Carrington are charged with taking part in a violent disorder.

Julie Carrington, 40, and her husband, 34 of Woodcroft, Woodside, in Telford and Jodie Carrington, 32, of Wantage, Woodside appeared alongside Sean Russell, 30, of Warrensway, Woodside and Daniel Dennis Beddows, of Woodside Avenue, Woodside, who are also charged with violent disorder.

The charges relate to an incident on December 1, 2017 in Woodside, for using or threatening unlawful violence together that would cause a person at the scene to fear for their safety. All five defendants spoke only to confirm their nationality, name and address at Telford Magistrates Court.

Beddows pleaded not guilty to the charge, while Russell and the Carringtons gave no plea.

The defendants will appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on November 26.
