Valuables taken from 11 vehicles in Cleobury Mortimer crime spree

Handbags, wallets and other valuables were stolen from vehicles in a spate of thefts in Shropshire.

Thieves targeted at least 11 vehicles in Cleobury Mortimer over the space of two days last week.

Police believe the crimes, which took place between 10pm on Wednesday and 5am on Thursday, were committed by the same offenders.

Thieves stole handbags, wallets, purses, sunglasses, a sat nav, camping stove, folding camping table and chair and toys.

The vehicles were targeted in Larks Rise, Catherton Close, Curdale Close and Cleobury Meadows.
