Man bitten in attack by dogs in Whitchurch

A man suffered bite wounds to his shoulder after he was attacked by two dogs in Whitchurch.

It happened shortly before 12pm on August 19 in a field off Back Lane.

West Mercia Police said the dogs were black and tan long-haired Alsations.

The victim, a man in his 50s, required hospital treatment and was left shaken following the attack.

Officers would like to speak to the man believed to be in charge of the dogs, who is described as in his 60s.

They are also appealing for a woman who may have witnessed the attack to come forward.
