Abandoned car blazes at side of Bridgnorth road - with video
An abandoned car was engulfed in flame by the side of a main road in Bridgnorth, with the fire spreading to a nearby hedge.
A fire crew was called to a car that was "fully involved" in a fire on the A458 Bridgnorth bypass.
Firefighters used hoses and breathing equipment to extinguish the blaze and about 10 metres of hedgerow that had caught fire.
Shaun Carvill, of Clickingmad, captured the incident on his dash cam:
The drama happened on Sunday, just after midnight, with the car totally destroyed in the fireball.
A fire service spokesman said: "Due to the location of the incident and the doubtful origin of the fire, West Mercia Police attended.
"The incident was quickly dealt with and left with the police to await the Highways Department and arrange recovery of the vehicle."
West Mercia Police are investigating the fire. Anyone with any information is requested to call the force on its non-emergency number 101.
