Lynn McNally, aged 46, suffered multiple stab wounds when she was attacked by Paul Beddoes at the home they shared in Mullinder Drive, Ketley Bank, between February 19 and 21 this year.

Beddoes, aged 45, pleaded guilty to murdering her earlier this week at Stafford Crown Court.

The defendant at first denied the offence on the basis of his diminished responsibility due to having a history of mental illness, but changed to a guilty plea before the start of his trial.
