Former mayor to appear in court over Shropshire crash which killed his wife

A former mayor of Worcester will appear before magistrates in Telford next month, charged with causing the death of his wife in a car crash in Shropshire .

Aubrey Tarbuck, 88, of Hallow, Worcestershire, is also due to face two charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving when he appears on June 12.

Anne Tarbuck died when their car was involved in a crash with another vehicle on the A458 near to The Plume Of Feathers Pub, at Harley, near Much Wenlock, in October last year.

A young girl in the other car was taken to hospital suffering head and chest injuries, while the driver of that vehicle was also hurt.
