Police appeal after man seriously injured in Telford attack

A man was left with serious head injuries after he was attacked in Telford.

The victim, in his 50s, needed hospital treatment after the assault in Burford, Brookside.

Police are investigating and said they are keen to trace a man and a woman wanted in connection with the incident.

The man is described as white, 5ft tall, aged in his late 30s, with short fair hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a dark jacket.

The woman is described as white, 5ft 10 ins tall and also aged in her late 30s.

She had shoulder length dark hair and was wearing a three quarter length white coat.

It happened between 10pm and midnight on April 6.
