Shrewsbury New Year's Day wounding charges denied by pair
Two men have pleaded not guilty to wounding with intent during a nightclub disturbance on New Year’s Day in Shrewsbury.

Rommell Holding, 27, of West Boulevard, Birmingham, and Dominic Stagg, 27, of Culford Drive, Birmingham, appeared at Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday.
Both men pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to Daniel Collings and actual bodily harm to Aaron Powell on January 1, 2018.
The offences are alleged to have taken place near to the Buttermarket nightclub in Shrewsbury, with the two alleged victims required hospital treatment.
Holding and Stagg also entered not guilty pleas to affray.
A trial date has been set for June 25.
