People have been paying tribute to Lynn McNally, who has been named as the woman who died aged 46 in an incident in Ketley Bank, last week.

Paul Beddoes, 44, appeared via video link at Stafford Crown Court yesterday, charged with the murder of Lynn McNally at an address in Mullinder Drive.

Her daughters have begun raising money to pay for their mother's funeral through online campaigns, and one of them has surpassed its £200 target already, hitting £616.

Ileishia Cureton, Lynn's daughter, opened a JustGiving page with the intention of giving her mother a fitting funeral and tribute.

Within 24 hours of the campaign beginning, Jessica Harrington donated £606, saying: "We are all thinking of you."

Ileishia said afterwards: "I am so overwhelmed and so grateful for some amazing girls [who] smashed our target for our mom - love you always mom and you will get the best send off ever, just what you deserve."

Kelli Bradley, Lynn's younger daughter, also opened a fundraising page on Facebook to run in parallel.

She said: "Me and my family would love to raise just a little bit of money just to help towards my mom's funeral.

"I just want to give her the send off she deserves and needs, any donations will be highly appreciated.

"She deserves the world and we are going to give her the next best thing.

"I really do from the bottom of my heart appreciate everyone's donation, even if it's a pound anything helps."

The Facebook fund had raised £70 at the time of writing, with friends of the family leaving their thoughts and wishes for Ileishia and Kelli.

Josh Jake said: "It’s not much but I hope you manage to raise it. Here if you need, you definitely don’t deserve this, but your mom would be so proud of you."

Emily Cartledge donated and said: "From my family to yours. Rest in peace beautiful lady."

Nellys Angel said: "Thinking of you all at this hard time, I'm sure your mum would be really proud of you Kel."
