Driver runs off after car crashes into Bridgnorth house
The driver of car which crashed into a house in Bridgnorth ran away from the scene.
The grey Ford Focus Zetec left the road and crashed into the building in Ludlow Road at around 11.15pm on Wednesday.
At least one person was seen exiting the car and running off. Police said they arrived within five minutes and that there were no obvious signs that anybody had been injured.
They said there were no signs the car had been stolen.
The owner of the vehicle has not yet been tracked down. The vehicle is leased and, although police are running further checks, they hope someone may be able to come forward with information.
When the owner is tracked down, they said appropriate action would be taken.
