Charity boxes stolen in Market Drayton bank break-in

Burglars stole two charity boxes after breaking into a Market Drayton bank.

Two men broke into NatWest, in Cheshire Street, overnight between January 28 and January 29.

Police Community Support Officer Andy King from Market Drayton Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "Two men broke into the NatWest Bank and two charity boxes were taken.

"Two males were seen leaving the area on CCTV. One male was described as possibly wearing a balaclava and socks on his hands.

"There is no description of the other offender."

It is not known how much money was in the charity boxes.
