Most of the break-ins happened some time on Christmas Eve and in one case a white car or van is thought to have been involved.

Two cars were interfered with in Border Close on December 24, with £10 in coins taken from one. The other break-in was captured on a neighbour's CCTV with a man rummaging around in the car but leaving with nothing.

Other cars were searched at Woodlands Close, and in Chestnut Avenue. In the latter case, CCTV captured a small white van or car drive past the property just after 1.15am, then three males walk back to the vehicle. They opened the car but nothing was stolen.

On Boxing day a purse was stolen from a car in Ascot Road in the town.

On December 23 a vehicle was broken into at Ty Maen, Oswestry and a Makita petrol saw stolen.
