Bicycles, motorbikes, and tools stolen in Shrewsbury

Bicycles, motorbikes and tools were among the items stolen in recent thefts in Shrewsbury.

A flat in Woodvine Road, Arlington Way, was burgled overnight between November 28 and 29.

A Playstation 4, two games and a number of cordless power tools were taken.

Meanwhile, a blue Dawes road bike was stolen from beside a front door in Chelwood Drive, Herongate, between 7.30pm and 9.15pm on November 28.

On the same night at about 9pm a bright green Cube pedal cycle was stolen from a garage in Barkstone Drive, Herongate, by a male in a light coloured hooded jacket and dark trousers.

Also, a quad bike and trailer were stolen from a locked barn in Leaton, between November 19 and 28.

A detached garage in Gains Avenue, Bicton Heath, was broken into overnight between November 30 and December 1 and a tool box and general household tools were stolen.

Three complete staddle stones and the top stone of a fourth were stolen from the garden of a house in Great Ness shortly after 10.30am on November 29.

Two garages near Shelton Hall Gardens were raided between Friday and Saturday.

A Specialised hybrid cycle, a black Univaga road bike, a Stihl leaf blower and hedge trimmer, a Makita drill, a green Kawasaki 125 motorbike, a grey Specialised mountain bike and three golf bags were taken.

Thieves stripped lead from the roof of an outbuilding beside the A49 in Main Road, Dorrington, between Saturday and Sunday.
