Kyle Gibbons was on a motorbike when he was involved in the collision in June, Shrewsbury Crown Court heard.

Mr Antony Longworth, prosecuting, said he had been riding through Stafford Park 1 and had tried to overtake a car as it was turning right.

He said 20-year-old Gibbons went under the wheels of the van with the motorbike.

The court was told he fractured his leg.

Police attended and found Gibbons was a disqualified driver and had no insurance.

Gibbons, of Blossomfield, Brookside, Telford, admitted driving while disqualified, without insurance and breaching a suspended prison sentence.

In mitigation, the court heard that Gibbons was disqualified from driving until March next year.

Recorder Roger Evans said Gibbons would have to complete 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days and abide by a curfew for two months.
