Spate of thefts and attempted break-ins at Shropshire properties

Power tools, two caravans, and a valuable rocking horse were among items during a spate of break-ins.

Two strimmers were stolen when a detached garage after a house in Ludlow was broken into. The theft happened between November 1 and 3 at a house near Hints Meadow, Coreley.

Other items were moved but not taken.

Meanwhile, two chainsaws were stolen from a garden shed in Neen Sollars overnight between November 1 and 2.

Other tools were removed but left nearby at the shed in Neens Hill.

A neighbour’s shed was also raided but an attempt to steal a quad bike was unsuccessful. A valuable rocking horse was stolen from a detached building in Henley, Ludlow, some time between October 24 and November 2.

Cash was stolen after a hairdressers in Lower Galdeford, Ludlow, was raided.

The theft was made between 5pm on November 5 and 9am on November 6.

Also, a cream Eldis Avante touring caravan and a white Stirling Eccles Sport caravan were stolen from a caravan park in Wentmor, Bishop’s Castle, between November 2 and 3.

The theft was at a caravan park in Wentnor.

Two attempted burglaries were reported in Old Street, Ludlow, and Ludlow Road, Little Stretton, A lock on the front door of a house in Ludlow was damaged overnight between October 31 and November 1.

Meanwhile, bins had been moved and window fittings were damaged at a house in Little Stretton between noon and 4.10pm on November 3.
