Woman, 69, hit trying to break up fight outside Bridgnorth restaurant
A 69-year-old woman was hit and injured while trying to stop a fight in Bridgnorth.
The fight started just before midnight on Saturday outside Peepo Pizza on High Street.
The woman tried to stop the brawl and was hit in the process.
Paramedics were on the scene for around 30 minutes.
She was treated before being taken to Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
West Mercia Police were also in attendance.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We received a call at 23.36pm to an incident outside Peepo Pizza on the High Street in Bridgnorth.
"The caller stated that a 69-year-old lady tried to stop a fight and was injured whilst trying to stop it.
"Police was on the scene and an ambulance attended. The woman was assessed on the scene for about half an hour and taken to the Princess Royal Hospital."
