Thousands of pounds damage done to car while owners walked at Long Mynd

A car parked near a popular Shropshire walking spot was targeted by vandals, causing thousands of pounds damage.

The car was parked near the Long Mynd, Church Stretton, and the damage happened between 2pm and 3.15pm on Sunday, said police.

A message on the Shropshire Cops Facebook page says: "A vehicle while parked near the Long Mynd, Church Stretton has had thousands of pounds of mindless damage caused while owners were out walking the hills.

"Each panel looks to have been attacked with mud and rocks.

"Incident happened on Saturday, September 2 between 2pm and 3.15pm.”
