Gas tamper break in at Leominster home

An unknown person is thought to have entered someone's home and tampered with their gas supply.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after the suspicious activity at a residential property in Green Lane, Leominster.

Detective sergeant Sarah Bennett of West Mercia Police said: "It is reported to have happened sometime between 9pm on June 19 and 9.45am on June 20, when an unknown offender or offenders are believed to have entered the property through an insecure entrance.

"Nothing was taken and nobody was injured during the incident, but a gas supply is thought to have been interfered with.

"We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated above.

"We would also like to remind people to check their windows and doors before leaving their property or going to bed, ensuring they are locked and secure wherever possible."
