Properties around Whitchurch, Wem and Market Drayton have all been targeted.

Between 11.15pm last Friday and 7.15am on Saturday an offender entered a house in Ash Magna, Whitchurch, where a wallet, watch and set of keys were taken.

The keys were then used to gain access to a detached garage where a valuable orange Whyte T130 mountain bike, cycle accessories, hand and power tools and a Stihl hedge trimmer were stolen.

A garden shed in Church Lane, Ash Magna, was raided between 9pm last Friday and 9am on Saturday, and a Stihl chainsaw was taken.

A chainsaw was also stolen when a garage at a cottage at Tilley, Wem, was broken into between May 6 and 12 while the owners were away.

A Stihl chainsaw was stolen from a garden shed in Crossway, Pipe Gate, Market Drayton, between 9pm on Tuesday and 8am on Wednesday.

Two white males, one described as in his 40s and the other in his 20s, were seen trying to break into a house at Logford turning, Market Drayton, at about 11am on Tuesday.

The pair ran off when disturbed. Two people were arrested on suspicion of burglary later, following a suspicious incident in Ash Road, Whitchurch.
