Man knocked unconscious in Telford robbery

A man was knocked unconscious and had his bank card, mobile phones and money stolen in Telford.

The victim, in his 20s, was walking along Silkin Way, Madeley, when he was approached by an unknown man.

An altercation took place and the victim was punched in the face and received an injury to the back of his head.

He fell to the floor and lost consciousness.

When he regained consciousness, he discovered that his bank card, two mobile phones and money had been stolen.

The assault happened at about 11am on May 3.

Police are urging anybody who may have witnessed the assault to come forward.
