Telford lorry driver charged over woman's death

A Telford lorry driver is set to appear in court charged with the death of a woman following a crash in Essex.

Anthony Cheshire, 62, is charged alongside and Tammy Langton, 32, from Blackheath, over the death of Laura Cooper in March last year.

Ms Cooper, 34, from Leicestershire, died on April 2, 2016, after a car and a lorry crashed on the M25 outside Waltham Abbey on March 29 last year.

A 17-year-old from London was also injured in the crash.

Cheshire and Langton will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on April 12. Both have been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

Langton was also charged with causing death by careless driving with a proportion of a controlled drug over the specified limit.
