The team at the firm, based in Telford, have created furniture and stationery home-working and home-learning packages that can be ordered and paid for online, before being delivered directly to doors across Shropshire.

A number of stationery bundles have also been donated to local schools for pupils who may be in need of resources.

Richard Hughes, of Chrisbeon, said: "Since the start of the pandemic the way we work with clients and customers has obviously changed a lot and we have been helping both large companies and smaller businesses as much as we can.

"We wanted to make it easy for people who are now working from home a lot longer than they initially thought they would and are wanting desks and chairs to work on.

"And with so many children now learning at home, we decided to put together stationery packages as well."

The company has a showroom in Stafford Park that is closed due to the current lockdown but they are manning the phones, emailing out quotes for new office furniture and stationery and have been taking photographs of both new and preloved showroom items and emailing them out so people can view them.

"Once people have picked what they want we can organise pick-up from the Telford site – with all relevant precautions in place – or in some cases deliver the items out to homes," added Richard.

"Our stationery home-schooling bundles include exercise books, a pencil sharpener, pens and pencils and we have donated a number of these bundles, from us and on behalf of other businesses in Shropshire, to local schools for pupils who may be in need of them."
