The Marches Growth Hub Shropshire is staging the event in partnership with digital consultants InSynch at the University Centre Shrewsbury on April 30.

The morning event will look at the strategic use of digital techniques to achieve business goals as well as focussing on website and email marketing, how to use Facebook and content marketing.

Emma Chapman, Marches Growth Hub Shropshire manager, said the event was specifically aimed at SMEs from across the Shropshire Council area and would give them essential DIY tips for getting the most out of digital platforms.

“This will be a must-attend event for anyone looking to use any form of digital marketing to connect with customers.

“We will look at overall strategy to help businesses produce a blueprint for success, give tips on doubling the business your website generates and how to make it more visible in searches and listings and show companies how to improve their email marketing.

“And there will also be some invaluable advice on how to make Facebook work for you and how to tailor your content to get the best results.”

Eddy Webb, from InSynch, added: “We work with businesses every day, using digital marketing to deliver measurable results. These sessions are so popular because they are based on our knowledge of what works and what doesn’t.”

The event gets under way at 9.30am at the Guildhall in Frankwell Quay.
