Mystery as hotel closes with apology
A Llangollen hotel has closed down overnight, leaving simply an apology on its social media account.
The White Waters Hotel on the A5 to the west of the town has been open for more than a decade.
Set on the banks of the River Dee it has provided a venue for weddings and conferences as well as a hotel and restaurant.
This weekend a notice appeared on the hotel's Facebook page saying: "Sorry we are closed".
The hotel's phone is not ringing out and there is no answer to emails or social media messages.
