20 jobs created as Telford sports store to open
There will be 20 jobs created when a new sports shop opens its doors.
Decathlon is set to open at Forge Retail Park in Telford on June 7.
Phil Roberts, store leader, said: "It’s an extremely exciting time for our brand new team coming to Telford.
"There are some great sporting facilities and needs in the area and we have tried to reflect this as much as possible in our product offer and recruitment of the team.
"In the peak of summer this will bring an additional 20 jobs, who aim to be local experts in their chosen sport, to try and provide everyone with the ultimate experience in store."
This will be the latest new unit for the company, which has 44 stores around the country.
French company Decathlon is the biggest sports goods retailer in the world. It opened its first UK shop in 1999.
