Automotive retailer Evans Halshaw has announced it will be opening a brand-new Car Store dealership in Battlefield.

Car Store is the used-car brand of Evans Halshaw. There are currently 14 Car Stores operating across the UK.

The new state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility will open at the beginning of February and at Kings Park, Battlefield Way.

Customers will have access to hundreds of used cars across a range of manufacturers at the dealership, as well as a virtual store allowing them to browse more than 20,000 used cars in group stock nationwide.

The dealership will also offer after sales services, and will buy customers’ existing cars through the Sell Your Car service.

Carl Kendall, head of implementation at Evans Halshaw Car Store, said: “We’re delighted to announce that Evans Halshaw will be opening a brand-new Car Store in Shrewsbury shortly. Selling quality used cars at affordable prices, this is a unique proposition for the area and we look forward to helping customers find their perfect car.”

The new Car Store has created 36 new jobs and the team are still recruiting for remaining 10 positions across customer service and technician/maintenance.
