Shrewsbury spa to close in January
A spa which is in one of Shrewsbury's most recognisable buildings will be closing its doors for good in the New Year.
St Nicholas Spa on Castle Gates has traded for a number of years but the owner, Eddie Uyan, has taken the decision to close the Moroccan inspired spa from January 13.
The bar, grill and hotel, which are located in a former church close to the town's castle, will continue to trade.
A statement on the St Nicholas Boutique Hotel Facebook page said: "We are very sorry to announce that St Nicholas Spa will be closing on January 13, 2018.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our amazing staff for their hard work and all of our lovely clients for their support.
"We advise all clients with a valid gift voucher to redeem it by that date if possible. The hotel, grill and bar will remain open as usual."
Mr Uyan was unavailable for comment.
