The 32 tonne Exporting is GREAT campaign truck will be at SP’s Bastion House HQ in Hortonwood, Telford on Tuesday, September 26, bringing a range of advice on how Shropshire businesses can export their products and services to overseas customers.

The truck provides a flexible workspace including a Skype room connecting to a network of overseas advisors who can talk local companies through the complexities of how to engage in different export markets.

Exporting is GREAT was launched last year to so that businesses can apply online for export opportunities – part of a move to get 100,000 additional UK companies exporting by 2020.

“It’s a great coup for us to be hosting the Export Hub Roadshow,” said Paul Watts, head of international business development at SP Services.

“Many Shropshire businesses are in a position to sell more of their products and services overseas but they believe that there are barriers that prevent them from exporting.

“As a major exporter of medical equipment and consumables across the globe, our team are some of the most professional and dedicated in the export world.

“By hosting the Export Hub, we hope to inspire more UK SMEs to take advantage of the global appetite for quality British products. It should be a great networking day for both experienced and novice exporters.”

The campaign truck will be parked outside SP Services' Bastion House headquarters on Hortonwood 30 from 10am on September 26.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day with a buffet lunch at 1pm.
