The increase reflected a strong performance across the practice with all departments matching or improving on billing totals from 2015/16.

It’s also the first time annual fees have topped the £8 million mark in the firm’s 34-year history.

With offices in Shrewsbury, Chester and Manchester, Aaron & Partners’ key areas of specialism include company and commercial law, commercial property law, dispute resolution and employment law, as well as matrimonial and wills, trusts and tax work.

Independently, the firm’s Shrewsbury office saw fees increase by 14 per cent year-on-year.

The figures follow a period of significant growth in Shropshire with the firm recently making its third office relocation in just four years since setting up in the region in 2013, moving into offices in Oxon Business Park.

“We’re delighted that our strategy of offering bespoke services to clients who own and run businesses and to private clients continues to pay off,” said Simon Edwards, senior partner at Aaron & Partners.

“We’re proud that the Aaron & Partners brand continues to attract great people to service our clients’ needs and these financial results are testament to the effort and dedication of our teams across all of our offices. We’re confident that we’re well-placed to continue building on our success in the coming years.”

He added: “It’s also particularly pleasing to see how our Shrewsbury office continues to go from strength-to-strength.

"We made a strategic investment in Shropshire and since then have continued to work hard enhancing both our expertise and the services we offer.”
