The Grade II-listed Halton Former Mission Church near Chirk has gone up for sale for £325,000.
The corrugated iron structure was built in 1878 as a mission room, as part of the evangelising of the district undertaken by the Rev Joseph Maude of Chirk.
Cadw, the historic environment service of the Welsh government, called the building "an early and unusually well-preserved example of a corrugated-iron mission church" which is "more architecturally ambitious than most such corrugated-iron buildings".

Today, the historic building is a two-bedroom, two-reception room property, which agents eXp World UK say has been "lovingly maintained" by its current owners.
Due to its unconventional construction, the estate agents say the purchase is open to cash buyers only.
The listing states: "A rare opportunity to own a home that balances character with comfort, and charm with space — a true hidden gem.
"This inspiring home offers a blend of everyday living and creative design, perfect for those seeking both function and flair."
