Wolves Women are set to host holders Manchester United at the SEAH Stadium (New Bucks Head) on Saturday evening in their Women's FA Cup fifth-round tie.
More than 5,000 supporters are set to attend the game, which will be kicking off in Wellington at 5.15pm.
Officers from West Mercia say they have worked closely with both clubs and AFC Telford United, who are hosting the game.
Supporters and residents can expect to see an increase of officers on patrol around the stadium and local area throughout the day to offer assistance and reassurance.

PC Adam Rock, who is Telford’s dedicated football officer, said: “The local community can expect to see football fans making their way to the stadium for the Women’s FA Cup fixture.
“Police officers will be in and around the town centre engaging with supporters and the local community, ensuring everybody enjoys this safe fun family event.
“We expect this to be a great family day out for all attending, and if you see our officers out and about, please take the opportunity to say hello.”
Fans who will be driving to the game are encouraged to park on the stadium’s car park or at Telford College on Haybridge Road in Wellington.
