None of the local police officers could attend January’s town council meeting but they sent in a brief report to the town clerk.
However, town clerk Liz Kelso told members the only information she had was that during the last month officers had been dealing with a number of incidents including a missing person report, a suspicious circumstances incident, a criminal damage matter, domestic incidents and public disorder.
Councillors said they would like more details on the incidents and they had only been given scant details about the last month’s matters too.
Members agreed that the clerk should contact the police to ask for more details.
