At 7.06pm on Wednesday (December 11), the water company issued an apology to residents who were experiencing no water supply, poor pressure or discoloured water in the SY5 area of Shrewsbury throughout the afternoon.
Teams were quickly on site to carry out essential repair works and resolve the issue.
At 9.40pm, Severn Trent Water said the repair was taking a "little longer" than first anticipated.
And, just before midnight at 11.52pm, the water company announced that water was back flowing as normal for customers.
An update said: "We’re pleased to inform you that the works in your area are now completed, and the water supply is back to normal.
"For those that were impacted by this we’d like to thank you for your continued patience whilst this was being carried out."
