Set within the sweet south Shropshire village of Ashford Bowdler near Ludlow, the semi-detached house will go to auction on December 11, and currently has a guide price of £160,000.

The Grade II listed property received a price reduction on Saturday (November 9) and features a cottage-style garden, a garage and off-road parking. 

Entering the property through a porch that leads into a large living room, there is a window overlooking the rear garden, period beams and a red brick fireplace with woodburning stove in situ.

The cottage has retained its character throughout with period features and timber frames on show. The first floor boasts two "good sized" double bedrooms and a landing leading to a toilet.

Meanwhile, to the front of the cottage is a pathway to the drive and a detached garage.

It added that Ashford Bowdler is surrounded by "some of the most beautiful countryside in the area".

The property is being sold through Nock Deighton's Land and Property Auction on Wednesday, December 11 at 6.00pm.
