School science experiment sets off fire alarms

Firefighters were called to a Shropshire school when a science experiment set off alarms this morning.

Fire crews from Baschurch were called to Packwood Haugh School in Ruyton XI Towns when the experiment caused the school's automatic fire alarms to go off.

The incident happened just after 10am today.

No action was needed by the fire crew and they left the scene before 10.15am.
