Sundeep Paul, 20, Brian Harrison, 36, Sean Waddilove, 41, and Mohammed Aqil, 23, were made the subject of confiscation orders at Birmingham Crown Court.

They were jailed this year. The confiscation orders followed investigations by members of West Mercia Police economic crime unit into the defendants' financial status under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Judge Simon Drew declared that Paul's benefit was £200,000 from his criminal activity.

It was revealed that Paul, of Hadrian Flats, Wellington, only had realisable assets of £1,226.

Paul must pay the monies by December or face a further 30 days in prison.

The benefit to Aqil was said to have been £89,000 and that police were able to trace available assets of about £4,700 which included cash and a car. Judge Drew had until January to pay the money or face an additional two-and-a -half months in jail

Aqil, of Manor Road, Arleston, Telford, was told he must also forfeit four mobile phones which were found in his possession.

The benefit to Waddilove, of Victoria Avenue, Wellington, was recorded as just over £27,000, but it was decided he he had little or no assets and an order was made for £215.

Waddilove has until January to pay the cash or face a further nine days in custody.

Brian Harrison, of Parkway, Woodside, Telford, was said to have gained by £10,000 but had no assets.

A confiscation order for a nominal £1 was made in his case.

The Proceeds of Crime cases of six other convicted drug dealers were adjourned pending further financial investigations by the economic crime unit.

Hearings for Adil Khan, 22, of Manor Road, Hadley; Waqar Hussain, 21, of Hurleybrook Way, Leegomery; Naseer Khan, 20, of Bush Close, Dothill, Telford; Amar Hussain, 22, of Eyton Road, Dawley; Robert Carter, 28, of Bleachfield, Hanwood, Shrewsbury, and Wassiem Hussain, 22, of Crescent Road, Hadley, Telford, will be heard in April next year.

All the defendants were jailed in April this year having pleaded guilty to offences linked to the supply of drugs in a conspiracy between September, 2012, and September last year.

They were among 30 people arrested last year following an extensive undercover police inquiry by West Mercia officers codenamed Operation Sift.
