Missing teenager Elise Buckley found safe in Telford
Missing teenager Elise Buckley has been found safe and well in Telford after a six-day search.
The 14-year-old was found by police in Dawley at 10.30pm last night after she vanished last Friday.
Today her father, Brian, spoke of his relief after a "traumatic" six-day search.
Mr Buckley, of Brackenfield in Brookside, said: "I am delighted she's back and safe. It's been a bit of a traumatic time for everybody but I'm just overjoyed she's here now."
Elise vanished after she went shopping in Birmingham on Friday. She was last seen shortly before 7pm leaving Edgbaston in a red Audi with three men.
But she failed to return home or to her mother's house in Wolverhampton and did not have her mobile phone with her.
West Mercia Police and West Midlands Police issued a series of appeals for information as part of the search.
Elise comes from Wolverhampton but was staying in Telford when she went missing.
She took to Facebook today to apologise for her disappearance. She said: "I want to first of all say that I'm sorry for any stress that I've caused."
