Reliable Ryan Young has revealed he wants to finish his career at AFC Telford.

The New Bucks Head star swept the board at the club's presentation evening, winning all of the Player of the Year awards, following a fabulous first season in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

The experienced goalkeeper, now 32, is playing the best football of his career and he believes that is because he is enjoying himself.

"I love this club and I want to stay here for the rest of my days," said Young.

"I am loving it at the moment and playing in this league is brilliant.

"I'm mentally stronger and I think that has helped me maintain my level of performance.

"Telford is where I belong and I would be delighted to finish my career here."

Young's words will be music to the ears of Bucks fans who are becoming concerned with the lack of transfer activity.

Only young full-back Luke Hubbins has been added to the squad so far, but Young has backed manager Andy Sinton to find the right players.

"The manager's told us what he is trying to do,"

Young added. "He has a few irons in the fire and I'm sure we will bring in players when the time is right.

"For now, we have to wait and see what happens but I am confident the manager will find players who can enhance our squad."
