The Aston Villa Old Stars will take on Abermule All Stars in aid of the village community centre and Wales Air Ambulance.

Neil Rioch, Aston Villa Former Players Association chairman, said: "Since their formation in 1960, the Villa Old Stars team has raised more than £3.5 million for charity and worthy causes.

"As such, we want to support this match by fielding our best available team on the day.

"Our current squad includes Villa legends such as Gordon Cowans, Tony Morley, Des Bremner, Steve Staunton, Mark Walters, Tony Daley Paul Birch and more."

Along with the football match there will be a DJ, compere, food and a bouncy castle for children.

There will also be a raffle to win a football signed by the current Villa squad.

The game on Sunday at Abermule Community Centre starts at 2.30pm.
