Former Strictly Come Dancing champion Camilla Dallerup will be heading to Shropshire to step out with shoppers - in a special performance of a routine called the "choo choo choo".

The dancer, who lifted the Strictly crown in series six with actor Tom Chambers, will be teaching her version of the cha cha cha at Telford Shopping Centre on November 13.

Now she is looking for 20 people who would like to join her and learn from a professional.

An appeal has been launched for wannabe dancers.

Camilla will be holding the masterclass as part of a promotion by Wrexham & Shropshire Railway, which operates direct trains from Wrexham to London Marylebone, via Shropshire and Telford.

Wrexham & Shropshire's spokeswoman, Jo Phillips, said: "Camilla is an outstanding dancer and her masterclass is a great opportunity for the people of Telford to get moving.

"At the class, shoppers will also be able to get information on all of our London services, including our family saver return ticket, which is priced from £80."

Other London offers include two-for-one tickets for a hundred of the capital's best attractions, including hit west-end musicals "We Will Rock You" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller".

Camilla will be appearing at the centre from 12pm to 2pm. Wannabe dancers who would like to take part should write and tell us in no more than 200 words why they would like to step out with the ballroom beauty.

Entries should be sent to Camilla's Choo Choo Choo at Shropshire Star, Ketley, Telford, TF1 5HU or e-mail entries to tosullivan@shropshirestar.co.uk

Include your name, address and daytime telephone number.

The deadline for entries is November 5, with 20 dancers selected to take part.
