Curtain going up on a beauty at Telford theatre

The curtain will go up for Sleeping Beauty at a theatre in Telford this Saturday.

The Little Theatre in Donnington is staging the production.

It stars Laura Delves as Prince Orlando, Kay Bishop as Carabosse, Stephen Oliver-Davies as Queen Dottie, Cathy Rawings as Spindle Shanks and Nina Aver as Sleeping Beauty.

The pantomime is set in Woollycombe – the land of sheep, spinning wheels, Princess Aurora and her family.

After a mishap at her christening the princess lives with a curse over her until her 18th birthday.

At that birthday she meets the Prince of her dreams, but the evil Carabosse strikes and her future seems to be doomed.

Performances are at 2.30pm on Saturday, Sunday and Saturday, January 26.

There is also an evening performance at 7.30pm on January 26.

All tickets are £7, or a family ticket for four costs £25.
