The charity will be showing festive favourite Miracle on 34th Street at the Cineworld in Telford on December 4.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Christmas screening – with standard entry costing just £10 per person.

Guests can pay £15 for a VIP ticket and enjoy a glass of prosecco or hot chocolate with a mince pie.

The event will help Severn Hospice provide support to families living with incurable illnesses in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales.

Fundraising Officer at Severn Hospice, Hannah Gamston, said: “Our Christmas screenings have become a real festive treat for our supporters with film fanatics coming back every year.

“Last year the screening sold out just a month after we launched the event, so we are expecting tickets to sell very quickly – especially with Miracle on 34th Street being such a family classic.

“We are really grateful to Telford Cineworld who have once again gifted us the screen free of charge for us to make this event possible.

“Events like this mean the hospice can help provide support to families living with incurable illnesses not just in Telford and Wrekin but across Shropshire and Mid Wales too.”

Anyone booking four or more standard tickets together will automatically be upgraded free-of-charge to VIP.

The screening will feature the 1994 remake of the original film – starring Mara Wilson and Richard Attenborough.

Doors at the Southwater venue will open at 7pm for a 7.15pm start. Seating will be allocated in advance and tickets will be sent in the post.

The event will include a Christmas card and raffle ticket sale as well as the opportunity to buy festive refreshments.
