Easter 2018: Top activities taking place across the Midlands and Shropshire
Daffodils are beginning to sprout and chicks are hatching - spring has sprung and Easter is just around the corner.
Whether you want to take part in an Easter egg hunt, learn how to make the chocolatey treat, or meet the Easter bunny in person, there are plenty of family-friendly activities happening across the Midlands and Shropshire:
Easter Eggstravaganza - West Midlands Safari Park
March 24 - April 15
West Midlands Safari Park is hosting its annual Easter Eggstravaganza.
There’ll be a whole host of themed activities for the whole family, all included in the standard admission price.
Youngsters will be able to help the Easter bunny follow the trail of gigantic eggs to solve clues and 'unscramble' the secret Easter password for a chocolate surprise.
There will also be a themed craft club taking part in the Safari Academy.

Eggs-ellent Easter - Drayton Manor, Tamworth

Have a cracking time at Alton Towers this Easter season with a range of activities on offer.
Take part in the Easter trail, go egg counting on the Polperro Express, experience the new 4D cinema, take snaps in the Easter-themed photo area as well as enjoying the park's regular attractions.

Victorian Easter Traditions - Blists Hill Victorian Town, Telford

Over the Easter Bank Holiday learn all about Victorian Easter traditions at Blists Hill.
Try not to crack an egg during the traditional egg dancing activity and come wearing your fanciest bonnet for the parade.
On various days you can join the rangers to see chicks’ eggs being kept warm in the incubator and discover how to see inside the eggs. If you are lucky enough to watch the eggs hatch, you may be able to hold a baby chick.
You can also find out how chocolate eggs are made, and follow a family trail around the town and woodlands searching for the hidden Easter bunnies.

Anniversary Celebrations - Warwick Castle

Celebrate the 950th anniversary of Warwick Castle this Easter.
Enjoy brand new interactive exhibition The Conqueror's Fortress, learn tactical defense skills at William the Conqueror's Knight School, and meet Rattus Rattus in a new Horrible Histories adventure.

Easter Activities - Dudley Museums
April 3 - April 12
A variety of events are taking place at Wordsley's Red House Glass Cone and the Museum at the Archives.
On April 3 there will be a fun glass fusion day, where attendees can create emojis, picking their own favourite character to reproduce in glass.
There will be a fun family trail at the Museum at the Archives on April 4, followed by a day of glass fusion on April 7.
For all those interested in dinosaurs, there will be a Dinosaur Day at Dudley Museum on April 11 with a range of themed activities.
On April 12, to keep the dinosaur theme alive, there will be a glass session dedicated to the prehistoric creatures.
Peter’s Enchanted Forest - New Square, West Bromwich
Meet Peter Rabbit and Mr McGregor as you take part in an Easter chocolate trail around New Square.
Kids can also get creative with a competition for the chance to win an Easter prize bundle including, a family ticket to ODEON Cinemas, a £30 gift card for Sprinkles Gelato and a bunny soft toy from Card Factory, plus lots of runners up prizes.

Easter Egg Hunt - Hoo Farm, Telford
